If you're really looking to get pampered, a foot massage area is set up to help guests unwind after a long day of exploration in the nearby National Park.

The lodge is located on a game-rich farm. A floodlit water hole within the grounds attracts various animals like black wildebeest, roan antelopes, zebras and oryxes who freely roam around. A dining area overlooking the water hole provides a unique experience to observe wildlife while enjoying their excellent cuisine and drinks.

It certainly was quite a sight to see two ostriches racing by the grounds as I was enjoying dinner.

Early morning wake up calls are sometimes provided by roaming animals. It's all part of the experience.

One of my top highlights was the stunning night sky with thousands of stars brightly shining as I've never seen before as a long-time city dweller.
